Once the proud daughter of the wealthy Varga family, Valentina Varga was a keen violinist who incorporated dance with her musical talents to wow any audience. She was loved by all her who met her and known for her haunting beauty. Much like any child Valentina would often disobey her parents in search for a fun adventure and climb the sacred Oak tree located far in the Varga estate garden. This eerie and malformed Oak tree was said to be the source of the Varga families prosperity, bringing grace and good fortune as the family reaped all year round for generations.

The Oak tree has stood for over 300 years, receiving many-a offerings and rituals in exchange for wealth and good fortune. One afternoon during Valetina's adventures she’d callously cut herself on a branch whilst climbing the tree. This seemingly harmless act would lead to a path in Valentina's life that she could never predict.

 

The young Ms.Valentina would begin having seizures, dreams, visions and memories of dead family members. As well as developing unnatural abilities, one of which enabled her to manipulate fire. With the exception of frightening dreams, Valentina quite enjoyed this strange new chapter in her life and would often show her friends and maids her new talents.

 As the years passed Valentina's abilities matured as did she. It wasn't long before she found herself a young, married, lady settling down with a distinguished husband from a wealthy family. Unfortunately things would take a horrifying turn as her husband could no longer deal with the stress of Valentina’s seizures and dreams. Her husband would eventually become estranged to poor Valentina and find himself in the arms of Valentina's childhood friend who would whisper ill thoughts of her in his ear. Inevitably, Valentina would become aware of this deception and in a fit of rage kill her husband and his consort, burning his entire family mansion to the ground along with everyone inside.

Plagued with sorrow and guilt Valentina would throw herself from the cliffs at her family estate and fall to her death on the rocks below. She would leave behind a note to her family expressing her guilt and love for them, promising she'd find them again in the next life.

​

Valentina was buried soon after but like many dark secrets, she did not stay buried.

The maids at the Varga home would swear to the high heavens to have seen Valentina's ghost roaming the gardens,  contorted, cracked and misshapen. A hideous malformation of what Valentina once was.

​

Valentina Varga's Name would soon dissolve and she would become yet another horror story to be told.
