Mitsuko (Unit B1-02) is a bio-engineered woman with a adaptive A.I system fused to her brain.

This enables her supreme receptivity to data which better influences her logic based decision making and also keeps any human emotions suppressed. The mandatory usage of oral based tablets are required to accommodate this and reduce the probability of any internal conflict. This process although still imperfect has been trialled 13 times over on multiple subjects with unit; B1-01, B1-02, B1-03 showing the most stable progress.  

Mitsuko's creation was conducted within the labs of the The new "House of Fireflies". The result of combining the DNA of various subjects including that of a legendary kofun warrior from the outrealm said to have possessed a rare gift from history's past.

Mitsuko was created for the sole purpose of using this rare gift as the Firefly clan’s mainline of defence against the conduits of a dark force known as "Arahabaki". A malevolent force originating from an alternate world that threatens to spill into this one. 

Having been raised from childhood to perform her duties with precision focus, she excels as a warrior but her unwavering devotion to her missions and absence of humanity has also made her cold as person.

With the announcement of the Furia Royale Games, Mitsuko was chosen to lead a small team to join the tournament alongside by Tayra and Sozo to learn more about the Furia Royale host Benisatou and her true goals.
