The youngest daughter of a family of Taekwondo practitioners in South Korea. Yuri-Oh had trained under her father since childhood alongside her brother Min-ho.

Yuri had often preferred the more peaceful path in her life, diligent in her school studies while also assisting her father with instructing in the dojang. Although the school was quite famous, the Oh-family dojang began to run into some financial troubles one day as competition between the other commercial schools picked up.

Student turnout began to drop and Yuri could see the stress building within her father.

News of the Furia Royale tournament soon reached her ears and in it, a chance for Yuri to bring some prestige to the school.

Despite her lack of fighting experience, Yuri set off for Japan to try her hand at the tournament.
